Brewers Lose At home to braves

Well coming home didn't solve the brewers losing ways as they lost 2-1 to the Atlanta Braves. The Brewers missed a golden opportunity to tie the game or go ahead in the 7th.Chris Capuano pitched a great ballgame but still picked up the loss. Ryan Braun certainly seemed to be trying a little hard at the plate and he couldn't come through in big positions for the brewers.Billy Hall also seemed to have a rough time as he got booed by the brewers fans. J.J Hardy continues to hit for the brewers and has settled back into that number 2 spot in the batting order.The Brewers certainly need to get off this losing streak and fast!

Brewers Lose their 5th straight

The brewers finished up there road trip on a sour note as they were shut down by the San Diego Padres in the finale. They lost 3-0 and it was the first time all season that they failed to score a run in a game. Jake Peavy was outstanding for the Padres as he went 7 innings only allowing a bloop single, and an infield single.Jeff Suppan in his words said he pitched ok but not well because the brewers didn't win the game. The Brewers finish up this road trip 1-5 and will be glad to get home for a 10 game homestand. Bill Hall certainly seems to be struggling but Ryan Braun is anything but as he is smoking the ball through his first 3 games. He will be a nice addition to the young infield of the brewers.

Brewers Fall in the Series Opener

The brewers didn't start out the series against the padres too well although they made things interesting in the latter stages of the game. They were down 7-0 but made a furious charge and were able to claw back to 8-6 but never could quite get close enough. Ned Yost and Geoff Jenkins were not around for the end of the game as both were ejected in the 7th inning. Ryan Braun had a great major league debut as he hit the ball hard everytime and drove in two runs. J.J Hardy continues to push Prince Fielder and vice versa as they both blasted one out for there 15 homers each. Dave Bush struggled again giving up 7 runs in 6 innings. Matt Wise was by far the best pitcher of the night as he made Padre batters look silly in the 8th inning. It was a sweet homecoming for Tony Gwynn Jr. as he came back to the city that he grew up in and the city in which his dad dazzled the state for so many years.

Brewers Lose Series Finale

The brewers were down early and could never climb out of there deep whole. The dodgers jumped on the brewers early with a 4 run first inning. The brewers got one back on a double by Billy Hall who is starting to find himself but that was all the Brewers could muster against dodger ace Brad Penny. Tony Graffanino made a costly play that will not show up in the score books but he waited a while before trying to throw out Juan Pierre which escalated to a four run inning for the dodgers.Capuono is starting to struggle as he lost his 3rd game in a row and gave up 5 runs to a dodgers team that is not really known for being a great hitting team.

Brewers Fall to Dodgers

The Brewers couldn't continue there winning ways as they fell in there second game of there west coast road trip 3-2. Rickie has really come on well after his wrist injury put him on the shelf for a couple of days. The Brew Crew made 2 costly errors both on pop ups that were dropped by Estrada and Prince Fielder. The one by Estrada cost the brewers a run which turned out to be the difference in the ballgame. The dagger turned out to be the Russell Martin Home run which put the dodgers ahead for good 3-1. The Brewers would get 1 back in the sixth but they couldn't quite come all the way back. They yet again had trouble with there hitting as they weren't able to get Ben enough runs when he only allows 4 hits..Lets bounce back tonight boys as Capauno faces Brad Penny.
